National Libraries Day launched
A national day to celebrate libraries has been launched today. National Libraries Day will take place in early February 2012. It will be the finale to a week of events that will celebrate libraries and librarians, and highlight the importance of reading. Saturday 09 February and the week leading up to it is your chance is your chance to celebrate National Libraries Day and to show just why librarians and information professionals are so loved and so vital to our communities. A culmination of a week’s worth of celebrations in school, college, university, workplace and public libraries across the UK.
